Club Helensvale takes a lot of pride in keeping things friendly and fun for literally everyone, from casual weekend players to actual international reps. Fact is we've got two award-winning undercover greens and one traditional real grass green so you can play in pretty much any weather.
Social Bowls is actually a massive part of our calendar. It's a brilliant way for bowlers of any skill level to get involved compete a bit and just enjoy the banter on the green. Honestly whether you're a seasoned pro or a total rookie there's something here for everyone.

Squawkin Hawks -- Social Club
The Squawkin Hawks are our super chill social bowls crew. They host casual games visit other reciprocal clubs and even organize awesome bus trips. Membership will only set you back $20 a year and new faces are always totally welcome to join the fun.
Barefoot Bowls -- Friday Nights & Sunday Afternoons | $10 per person
Join in the barefoot bowls fun every single weekend. We sort out the bowls and give you the basic coaching you need so you can just focus on having a laugh with your family and friends. To be honest lawn bowls is super easy to pick up making it an awesome idea for corporate events birthday parties or just a casual weekend hangout.
If you want to turn it into a proper party we've got delicious catering options and drink packages to suit your crew. Just get in touch with our Functions Manager and they'll sort you out.
Overall everyone is welcome to come down get active and experience something new. Bookings are absolutely essential though!

Just a quick heads up on the rules before you book:
Age Rules & ID: Because we're a fully licensed venue the law says all minors gotta be accompanied by a responsible adult (someone over 25 as per Liquor Licensing). Everyone needs to have valid ID on them. This applies even if you're just out on the greens and not going inside.
Booking Deposit: We hold a $40 pre-authorisation on your card when you book but it's only charged if you pull a no-show. It gets released straight back to your account when you arrive for your session.
Session Time: Bookings run for a solid 2 hours.
The Greens: Please respect the greens and listen to what our staff tell you. Keep in mind we can't always guarantee you'll get an undercover green if there are other major bowls events happening.
